A recently restored Holiday Inn located in the heart of Toulon, a 5-minute walk from the train station. Just enter and cross the reception to land in a small haven of peace in the middle of the city centre. The hotel offers spacious and warm rooms spread over 3 floors. The lobby-reception area is furnished with modern furniture, where you can improvise business appointments or organise tourist activities for the day. The hotel also has a restaurant, «The Observatory», which offers traditional cuisine based on fresh and regional products. And, with luxury, the hotel has a swimming pool area sheltered from prying eyes, as well as a small gym.

C est dommage pour un hôtel de cette gamme
Le seul problème est le petit déjeuner quand on vient vers la fin du service. Il ne reste pas grand chose. Il faut déjeuner avant 8h pour avoir du choix.

The hotel looks very shabby from the outside. Badly in need of a makeover. The pool area is uninviting, surrounded by buildings and dying palm trees. My photo is flattering.
Our room was OK. Bathrobes and slippers would have been nice. It does claim to be a 4 star property. I did spot some in the storage room on the morning that we checked out. Alas, none managed to make their way to our room during our stay.
On the upside, the breakfast was above average. A slightly smaller selection than usual but everything was delicious. It didn't vary over three days but I didn't care because it was all so tasty.
The best thing about this hotel is its staff. Such a warm welcome and so helpful. They were exceptional. With a special mention to Cassandra.
