The village was huddled around the church of Saint-Martin, the present chapel sheltered behind the castrum, the present tower of Taradeau. But this did not prevent the troops of Raymond de Turenne from destroying the village. The inhabitants fled, abandoning the territory to the city of Draguignan and finding refuge in the neighboring village of Les Arcs for more than 100 years. This village has preserved a watchtower from the Saracen period and a Romanesque chapel from the 12th century. Several Gallo-Roman sites have been discovered on site. A wine festival with tasting, parade of old agricultural machines, craft fair, takes place every year in November.
