HOUSE OF ARCHITECTURAL CERAMICS TERRA ROSSA
The museum was set up in a former tile factory. More than 3,000 m² have been built. The site offers the public a series of permanent exhibitions. Between archaeology, with ceramics dating back 7,000 years, discovered on sites in the town and industrial and craft memory including the production lines of the reconstituted tomettes as they were at the beginning of the 20th century. It should be noted that the "Le Monde Carré" collection assembled by Benoît Faÿ contains more than 2,000 decorated tiles from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. A space also allows to discover a modern production through the work of local professionals between tradition and innovation. Since 2010, the museum has been designing and organizing temporary exhibitions of a very high standard each year, presenting the work of highly talented professionals.
