At the foot of Mount Aurelian, between vineyards and forests that cover nine-tenths of the territory, this village is located on the ancient Aurelian Way. The streets will lead you to the castle, built in 1764 by the last lord of Pourcieux, Jules Symphorien Pazery de Thorame, listed as a historical monument since 1993 and still owned by the descendants of the former lords of the place. Also worth seeing is the public washhouse, the origin of the village, the fountain in the Place Victor Chavet, the church of Notre Dame de l'Assomption, which has been altered many times since the Middle Ages, and next to it, the ruins of a convent of Minimes, abandoned in 1771
