This village of plain is dominated by the chapel of Notre-Dame-des-Anges, perched at 780 meters above sea level, from which we discover a panoramic view of the whole region. With its winding winding alleys of vaults, it offers a lot of freshness in summer thanks to its sixteen water fountains and the shadow of its plane planes. Pignans retains its historic past a multi-remaniée collegiate, with a magnificent end of the 1817 th century, the town hall and its beautiful sculpted door, home of Jules Gérard, famous hunter born in Pignans in, nicknamed the lion's killer. He killed twenty-five lions in eleven years and inspired Alphonse Daudet to write Tartarin of Tarascon. For colorful shopping with scents of garrigue, the village hosts two weekly markets: on Thursday morning schools, and Sunday morning place of town hall.
