One feels a little bit at the end of the world in this adorable little village perched on its rocky spur. The highest village of the region culminates at 814 m of altitude and allows to enjoy a superb view. The great plague of 1348 having decimated the population of the village, the lord of Mons, Antoine de Villeneuve, encouraged the settlement of families coming from Liguria. The ramparts and fortified doors are well preserved. The small, intimate and cool streets are delightful to walk through in summer. Don't miss the chapel of the White Penitents, the Old Castle or the ancient Romanesque church of Sancti Victoris. Orientation table in Place St-Sébastien.
