Built on the hill of Paracol, this fortified village dates back to 300 years before our era and was occupied until the 10th century. There are still some remains of ramparts, vaulted passages, the Clock Tower, an old medieval belfry topped by a bell tower from 1754, fountains and an old communal washhouse. This Provençal village, animated by numerous traditional festivals, such as the Saint-Cyriaque festival (end of July-beginning of August), or the sausage fair (first weekend in September), also boasts seven museums - the latest of which, the Maison Rossellini, opened its doors during 2016.
