Blaise Obino, the last braider of traps visiting the Domaine de l'Anglade

A former professional fisherman, Blaise Obino is the last weaver of Lavandou traps in the Var. Over the years, his love for traditional fishing techniques has remained and he continues to share his passion. Even today, he still teaches basketry and fishing techniques to keep the tradition alive. He is also president of an association: old-fashioned fishing in the Mediterranean. Recently, the Domaine de l'Anglade, also located in Le Lavandou, posted a short video with the fisherman. We learn that the estate wishes to join Blaise Obino's association.
