Le Vieux-Cannet, a small village perched on an eagle's nest, dominates the entire Maures plain to the south, and looks out over the mountains of the Haut-Var and the Alps to the north. Strolling through the old village, one discovers the gates of the enclosure, the central square with its cistern and its 11th century Romanesque church of Vieux-Cannet, classified as a historical monument since 1862, the common oil mill and the ruins of the castle. From the tiny square that crowns the village, you can see the modern and commercial village that stretches along the old national road 7. Its market takes place on Saturday mornings in front of the train station.
