The second largest city in the department, with some 20 km of coastline, La Seyne-sur-Mer is sometimes overlooked in favor of Toulon or Bandol, and yet... Open on one side to the Toulon harbor and on the other to the Mediterranean, La Seyne was born of the sea and the maritime industry. But because of its ideal location on the magnificent Cap Sicié massif, La Seyne-sur-Mer also played a major role in military protection. Nowadays, the city center is turned towards tourism, but it is still somewhat neglected in favor of the Sablettes, where you will find beaches and restaurants. Don't miss the elegant corniche and its beautiful historic houses.
