Situated in the Haut-Var at an altitude of 997 m, this small, quiet village (almost alpine for the Var) is surrounded by mountains, woods and meadows. As you stroll through the narrow streets of La Martre, lined with its tall village houses, you will discover the parish church - to visit it, take the keys from the town hall opposite. The village does not really have a rich historical heritage to visit, but its richness is in its unspoilt and protected nature. You can go for many walks on marked paths that will delight you. Don't forget that you are just a stone's throw from the Verdon gorges and that the landscapes are grandiose.
