At the foot of the Coudon, the town which was called Solliès-Farlède until 1880, distinguished itself from its neighbors by freeing itself completely from its first part, to become simply La Farlède. The church of Notre-Dame, built between 1751 and 1755, is in the Romanesque style and houses an altarpiece dating from its construction. Located at the gates of Toulon, La Garde and La Valette, the town has experienced a strong industrial and demographic expansion over the last thirty years. Its Provençal market remains a beautiful escapade with, the third Sunday of each month, the organic and local market of the cherry, placette du Moulin de La Capelle, with animations, craftsmen and organic restoration.
