This small village crossed by the river Caramy, nestled at the foot of the Candelon rock and dominated by the Loube mountain, attracts visitors with its historical and cultural heritage, its narrow streets, its fountains, its wash house and its house of Coteaux-Varois-en-Provence wines. Located in the country of Brignoles, in the county of Provence, this rural area was marked in the 6th century by violent invasions by the Lombards, an invasion by the Saracens in the 8th century and a total destruction. It was not until the year 1000 that the Counts of Provence drove out the invaders and restored peace to Provence.
