Beautiful sandy beaches with crystal-clear waters, offering a pleasant setting for swimming or lounging in Hyères.

Shady, family, wild or isolated... With its 40 kilometers of coastline, Hyères offers many opportunities for swimming and you will really have something to relax your feet in the warm sand or take a dip. All the beaches, or almost all of them, are beautiful sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, and there are many of them on the coast, which allows you to vary the pleasures. The other advantage, in Hyères, is that the beaches are far from the city and offer a very pleasant natural setting.

And if, in 2015, the four beaches of Almanarre, Ayguade, Salins and Bergerie were awarded the Blue Flag label, it is not by chance... Their water is all the more pure as the beaches are far from pollution.

For those who like to relax and sunbathe, several establishments now offer mattresses and umbrellas for rent: the Robinson on the Almanarre side, the Bor hotel and the Potinière on the port side, the Marais at l'Ayguade, as well as the Kaina Beach at Salins. On Porquerolles, the restaurant la Plage d'argent also offers this service.

Our favorite ? The half-sand, half-pebble beach of La Madrague, in the extension of Almanarre, which, near the small port of the same name, is one of the most picturesque. You can admire the colorful pointus boats sailing in complete peace. A boat and kayak rental company, La Petite Flotille, has been anchored there for several years: with or without a license, you too can escape on the waves if you feel like it.
