Specialized in sylvopastoralism, a way to maintain the forest heritage while fighting against fire, this town watered by the Issole is especially known for its production of goat cheese, very popular with gourmets. The town enjoys a beautiful cultural program: theatrical performances are relatively numerous throughout the year at the House of Garéoult. Two weekly markets are held throughout the year in Garéoult: the Provencal market every Tuesday morning in the streets of the village, and the small market of local producers, every Saturday morning on the Place du Général-de-Gaulle (in front of the post office).
