Museum in a remarkable setting in Draguignan, housing rich collections, including works by Rubens, Renoir, etc.

Located in the heart of the pedestrianized town, in the former summer residence of Monseigneur du Bellay, Archbishop of Fréjus, the Musée de France houses rich collections. Painting and sculpture rooms feature works by Rubens, Renoir and others. A rich library displays incunabula, including the famous Nüremberg Latin Bible (1493) and a copy of the Roman de la Rose (14th century). Modernized and refurbished, the museum reopened on November 16, 2023.
