This small village of the Haut-Var, clinging to an altitude of 398 m, is bathed in serenity, with its narrow streets decorated with calades, covered passages, immense olive groves, the old restored communal mill, its church of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, its multiple chapels, including that of the Trinity, dating from the 11th century, the Romanesque chapel of Saint-Auxile and the chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Pennafort. Below the chapel, the superb gorges of Pennafort, made of a volcanic rock, the rhyolite, characterized by its red color, also called "red porphyry", are impressive and lead to a beautiful waterfall of 6 meters.
