Laprugne is one of the highest communes of the Montagne Bourbonnaise. It is located in the extreme south-east of the department of Allier, between the Montagne Bourbonnaise and the Monts de la Madeleine. As early as the 1st century, the Romans passed through here on their way from Vichy to Feurs. In the Middle Ages, the priory of Laprugne was one of the most important. It is here, at the family resort of the Loge des Gardes, that you can enjoy winter sports but also many activities in any season.
