Family restaurant offering hearty cuisine in Vauvenargues.

It is the boss who greets you and his wife is in the kitchen: a real family restaurant. Taste the brick brick for roasted meat, or lamb stew and apricots. Sunday the couscous is king: The complete royal with dessert is at 18 €. It's a pity that it's so rich, you're not hungry for one of the homemade desserts! In week, choose the côtes ribs or lasagna, well blended and copious. Happiness is not just on the plate: right under your eyes, in panoramic, is the green and forested mountain. Nice setting, average hospitality, make an attempt endless. Arrival at 12:10, 2 menus tajine/dessert with 21euros50, 14:15 still no dessert while on our arrival we were only 10 guests! we rise to pay by announcing that we will not have time to longer wait for the desserts that are still not requested. The owner is not dismantled and without possible discution the entirety of the menu has to us! €50 Into the air!. it is for the blow limits dishonest person... I not unless you are able to allow yourself to waste your money.

The setting is pleasant, especially at the weather. The cooking is nothing original, the welcome is just accessible. Smile nonexistent.
If you come for the couscous, I recommend couscous city centre.
For the view of the castle Picasso.

Arrival Sunday lunch at 13:00, barely friendly owner tells me to ask a waitress to find me table. At the end of fifteen minutes waitress dessert table, then tells me that there is no more couscous, because you nice there were 14 people. It does not have a menu me. 10 minutes later a waiter deals finally with me and tells me that it is possible to have a couscous. OK therefore. The menu is 1 couscous + 1 dessert for 22€. A 13:40, I rise to leave, because I have still much road to make before being early school year at home to vote. O miracle couscous arrive in the minute which follows. The glass is not Net. I eat of speed and decided to me from dessert. When paying, the owner, to whom I that I did not take dessert view slow service was more than unpleasant and me pay 22€. And I do not speak state toilets!.
Pleasure was only the view of the castle of Picasso with Vauvenargues.
