This tiny village of 1,753 hectares lies on a plateau surrounded by ridges and pretty valleys, at the foot of the southern slopes of Mount Sainte-Victoire. It is crossed, as its name suggests, by the Bayon, and has only a few houses (135 inhabitants at the last census). The only winding road that leads to the village is really magnificent with its wild and preserved landscapes, almost the same as those discovered by Cézanne during his walks! Enjoy the show without forgetting a stop at the Maison de Sainte-Victoire, a museum about the Sainte-Victoire, its geology, its preserved nature and some handicrafts in the shop.
