This association of sea enthusiasts promotes the heritage of traditional fishing boats (pointus or barquettes) in the city of Marseille. The project is above all to lead actions of mutualization around the boats in order to preserve their heritage and to give access to a larger number of people to nautical leisure activities. A work of sensitization to the respect of the environment is carried out throughout the year through sea trips but also eco-citizen activities. The actions range from the rehabilitation of boats to construction sites and take different forms. Outings and activities are regularly organized.

The association Boud 'sea remains active and its rates for members change every year. Its buildings moved to the Beautiful Waste of May on December 1st, 2016.
