Fuveau is a charming town of 9 000 souls, perched at 264 m above sea level, which has kept its Provençal authenticity. The village is perched on its rocky piton for more than a millennium, it lies east of the Bouches-du Rhône, 16 km from Aix-en-Provence and 35 km from Marseille. From above, the panorama is exceptional. You will have a beautiful view of Sainte-Victoire, Olympe and Aurélien and the surrounding countryside. The streets of the rising old village will guide you to the Saint-Michel Chapel and its th-century pigeon pigeon and enjoy some beautiful old doors by going to the Château des Peyssonels. You can then reach the rue Rondet (behind the church) where you will have wonderful panoramas on the chain of l'Etoile and the famous Sainte-Victoire. Golfers can discover the 18-hole hole in the Arc castle domain. You can also visit the Urban Transportation Museum which presents the history of transportation through a beautiful collection of cars, trams, locomotives and trolleybus. They will be delighted by the so-called «small train» tour of the train station. The biggest ones will appreciate some of the module that date back to 1920… In July, don't miss the fantastic show "sound and light" interpreted by the inhabitants of Fuveau and in September the Salon des Writers.
