At the foot of the Sainte-Baume massif, Cuges-les-Pins is a typical rural commune of the Aubagne region. Once called the Cugelais and the Culs joyeux, its inhabitants are now called the Cugeois. A change acquired by municipal referendum. Its main characteristic is geographical because it is the largest polje in France. The village is located in a basin, leaning against the hill, and the water is evacuated by ponors, absorption areas. Long prosperous thanks to fertile agricultural land, the Ok Corral amusement park is now its major economic engine, source of many jobs.
