It is here (and not at the abbey) that Frigolet liqueur has been made for nearly 150 years. Taken over by the Inisan family, the distillery produces more than 30,000 bottles per year. The secret lies in the right mix of thirty or so plants that have been macerated in alcohol and the addition of a honey-based syrup. In the small adjoining shop, you will also find pastry specialities made from this liqueur. During the season the distillery can be visited by appointment.
