Overlooking the bay of La Ciotat, this Provencal village has about 5000 inhabitants, built along the RD3 it is located at the gates of a forest area of pine forests, rocky and limestone reliefs. The remains of pottery attest to a human presence as early as 800 BC. In 1429 the commune was divided in two with La Ciotat. Over time, the farmers who work on the terraces move closer to La Ciotat to become sailors. You will enjoy strolling through the old village which has kept its authentic character, with a 12th century church, a Roman fountain and a stone watering place
