The town can be visited by following the "à fleur d'étang" walk, a route punctuated by reading tables allowing you to discover the monuments and points of interest over a distance of 5.5 km, i.e. about 1.5 hours on foot. The convent of the salt marshes, the church, the remains of the ramparts, the fountain, the port, the parks, the chapel... nothing will escape the visitor's curiosity. As for the pond, it is the second largest salt pond in Europe and the first in France. It is 20 kilometres long and between 16.5 and 9.5 kilometres wide. Its surroundings are home to 250 species of birds and several observatories are judiciously distributed.
