The ASPTT Aix-en-Provence was founded in 1944. At first, two sections were created: football and boules for postal workers and employees of France Telecom. Year after year, the ASPTT continues to develop and new sections are born. In 1952, basketball and cycling were added, in 1969, swimming, in 1970, table tennis, in 1973, jeu provençal, pétanque and judo, then fencing, gymnastics, bowling, geology, dance, baseball, tennis, football, volleyball, aikido, golf, etc... Today, it is an important omnisports club for children and adults, which offers about fifteen disciplines and whose coaches are renowned. From early learning sports to multi-sports courses, there are many proposals, not forgetting, in winter, ski trips. Different places of practice: for judo, the Louison Bobet hall in the Jas de Bouffan, for cycling, football, petanque and Provençal games at the La Pioline sports complex in Les Milles, also the base camp and headquarters of the association, for volleyball at the Julien Cournaud hall.
