The mythical "Cabane" in Saint-Laurent du Var has been relocated to the seaside of Villeneuve-Loubet in 2021. This new cabane with its tropical atmosphere is just as friendly and convivial with the recipes that have made this restaurant a must on the French Riviera: fresh and local products, choice meats and wild fish. Fresh pasta and mixed salads complete the menu for convivial meal breaks. The range of cocktails offered is appreciable. They clearly invite you to travel. Let yourself be carried towards new horizons!

Par contre sur ma pièce du boucher j'ai voulu remplacer une sauce part de la béarnaise on m'a répondu qu'ici les plats étaient fait comme indiqué et qu'on ne pouvez pas modifier je parle bien juste d'une sauce... Après avoir insisté le serveur a bien voulu demander au cuisine ils ont bien pris en compte ma demande
Lors de l'addition j'ai voulu payer par carte le serveur m'a demandé si je voulais rajouter pour le pourboire j'ai trouvé ça très déplacé alors que j'avais prévu de lui donner le pourboire avec un billet... A lire les commentaires c'est une pratique récurrente
Après c'est un restaurant qui doit tourner que l'été donc je peux comprendre aussi
Dommage que les plats aient perdu en qualité et quantité (malgré une hausse des tarifs), que les cocktails soient moins bons, et que le service laisse à désirer (oublis, retards, le personnel semble débordé).
Unfortunately, the service was chaotic and disorganised. At the end of the meal, our server asked if we wanted to add a tip. When we hesitated, he told us that service is not included in France. This didn’t sit right with us — especially as the receipt said “service compris”, and we believe it’s actually French law to include service in the menu price.
We didn’t want to create an awkward scene, so we went along with it, but it felt misleading and left a bad taste after an otherwise enjoyable meal.
Excellent food and setting, but the handling of the bill and the service overall need serious attention.
Locale bellissimo con atmosfera caraibica, consiglio di prenotare un tavolo perché potrebbe non esserci posto, soprattutto se gradite la vista mare o una location in particolare. Nel nostro caso in giornata siamo passate e ci hanno trovato un tavolino per 2 vicino al laghetto dei koi.
Il personale parla un po’ anche l’italiano, oltre che francese e inglese, quindi non ci saranno difficoltà a comunicare tra loro e i turisti.
È davvero una gemma a Villeneuve, che inizialmente pensavamo non avesse molto da offrire, per poi esserci ricredute.
Le focacce ci sono state offerte, buonissime, mentre noi abbiamo ordinato la tartare che era deliziosa, consiglio di far attenzione con i drink perché nonostante fossi stata avvisata, la scelta era alcolica e leggeremente amara, avrei preferito qualcosa di più dolce come la mia amica.
Coerente col prezzo, è un locale dove mangi occasionalmente e vale la pena spendere qualcosa in più, offrono anche spettacoli dal vivo.
