A hamlet of Cabris for many years, indeed for many centuries, Spéracèdes became independent at the beginning of the 20th century (1910). For this, the inhabitants had to build a church, the essential element to become a commune at that time. Only 7 kilometers from Grasse, the village benefits from a very green environment and is built on a hillside. When you climb up to La Croix de Spéracèdes, you discover a panoramic view of Cannes, the Esterel and the lake of Saint-Cassien, and it is magnificent. Its inhabitants, who were a little over 1,200 at the last census, are called Spéracèdois and Spéracèdoises.
