Discover Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, a charming and very residential neighboring town that is home to a medieval castle built at the end of the 10th century by Conrad I to prevent the Saracens from settling in the region. Its keep is the oldest in France. The name of the village comes from the Mentonasque language and means "brown rock" because of the dark color of the stones in the village. The village also has the millennium olive tree, a remarkable tree considered the oldest in France, as well as the Corbusian site, a group of buildings designed by the famous architect Le Corbusier.
