The most incredible viewpoint of the Baie des Anges had closed its kitchens for the winter, causing disarray for the regulars of the place. Well good news for them, Restaurant Le Plongeoir made its big comeback on March 15th. And the least that can be said is that Chef Frédéric Maillard has not been idle during his absence...

Welcome Back!

The epicurean's must-see spot for fine weather is finally back! This emblematic and historical site of Nice is the most incredible restaurant of the French Riviera. Le Plongeoir takes its name from its location, right in the heart of the sea, on the very spot where the oldest and most majestic diving board in Nice was installed. By choosing this place, Le Plongeoir surprised but above all delighted the people of Nice, offering them the possibility to eat or drink a drink accompanied by tapas in a place cut off from everything, nestled above the waters. It is therefore quite natural that since its opening in June 2015, Le Plongeoir has become the meeting place for epicureans who were waiting impatiently for its reopening for the season!

Chickpea Waffle with Octopus and Calamari cooked with Lemon and Basil, "Pont Neuf" of Aubergines; Warm Hinterland Asparagus, Crispy Egg, Truffle Flavored Snow Sauce and Herb Mesclun; Pistou Soup "Grandmother" style, Roasted Bread Baguette with Olive Oil.

The dishes.

Risotto Carnaroli with local artichokes, shavings of Old Parmesan cheese; Back of Cod Steamed with Saffron Season Vegetables and Lemon Pancakes. Tagliatta of Fillet of Beef a la Plancha, Ratte Potatoes and Perugins "Chef style".

Desserts.

Amaretti Tiramisu; Iced Chocolate Truffle, Candied Oranges; Pâtisserie du Jour.
