A major environmental, economic and solidarity issue on a local and global scale, this travelling exhibition invites the public to take a look at the sorting, recycling and recovery of our daily waste.

The eco-organisations gathered around this project, both educational and artistic, called on the photographic artist Alain Fouray to design and stage this exhibition

"RE-CYCLAGES" invites its visitors to follow a photo-educational path: this artistic journey at the heart of waste takes a different look at the different recyclable and recoverable materials of the different sectors, highlighting an aspect that is often unknown to the general public. It is therefore nearly 50 photographs and 10 information panels that capture the beauty and plastic beauty of the material that comes from our everyday waste.

The potential of recycling, the energy recovery of waste and the responsibility of each individual are societal issues that the general public must be aware of in order to acquire the right actions and take action. Our daily waste is no longer to be considered as "undesirable" but as real resources of today and the future

The recycling of our waste - agricultural, batteries and small batteries, waste electrical and electronic equipment, clothing, household linen and shoes, photovoltaic panels, energy-saving lamps and furniture - promotes and develops new circular economies, jobs in the regions and encourages innovation by French companies. In addition, the energy recovery of certain high-risk waste (unused medicines, chemical waste from private individuals, waste from healthcare activities with infectious risk of perforation, etc.) makes it possible to produce energy.

An invitation to amazement and learning that makes it possible to become aware of the urgency of recycling. A very successful act of awareness-raising in short!
