The village has undergone many changes over the centuries. The plague emptied it from its inhabitants in 1400, and it was only around 1700 that life gradually resumed. Linked to Cabris, the Tignet became independent in 1790 and became emancipated. But the two world wars will again see the population decline: We will have to wait until 1958 for the village to really grow with new buildings. Today, Le Tignet is a lovely place to live, a few minutes from Grasse.
