Located on the old royal road, also called "salt road", which extends from Nice to Turin, the commune became autonomous on January 30, 1818, under the impulse of King Victor Emmanuel. It then became Trinité Victor. A legal and administrative organization followed. In 1951, the commune and the hamlet of Laghet join together to form the city which we know today: La Trinité.Near Laghet (pronounced: laguet), a small watering place, you can discover a magnificent sanctuary for a simple visit, or, throughout the year, you can make pilgrimages to the priory
