The gallery of the Figurine is the "Breath is of history", a unique exhibition concentrated in miniature, a visit is necessary! Marie and Hervé Maneval have been feeding for more than 25 years a passion for history and have one of the finest collections of historical figurines of art. You will discover historical high-quality figures painted by hand with great precision, reproduce with fidelity to great historical moments, from antiquity to the First World War. You will also see objects found on battlefields, such as a great knight's sword, witness of the crusades and violence of fighting, lost for centuries at the bottom of a river. They will tell you how a figurine has been created since the search for information, sculpture, mould creation, oil painting applied by hand, to the very attention of every detail as much for the staging as for the layout and for coloring, with up to four colors in each eye for these figurines, some of which are barely more than 5 cm high. An unusual and fascinating place!
