"Èze has its feet in the Mediterranean, its head in the sky and the mountains as its crown. This reputation is not usurped for this village which is considered one of the most beautiful in the Alpes-Maritimes, and even in France. Its territory is divided into three parts: the Grande Corniche, perched above the sea at 700 m altitude, offers a breathtaking view. The old village of Eze, perched at 429 m in an eagle's nest with its medieval streets, exudes a spirit of tradition and authenticity. Finally, Èze bord de mer, located below on the Basse Corniche, is sheltered from the swell by Cap-Ferrat and offers many seaside pleasures.Numerous paths that follow the nature link the three levels of the commune. The most famous, the Nietzsche path, which inspired the philosopher to write his famous book "Thus Spoke Zarathustra", takes you from the village to the seaside. The smell of warm earth and sun-drenched plants fades away in front of the lapping of the waves. A medieval city perched between Nice and Monaco, occupied since ancient times (2nd century B.C.), ruled by knights, consular families and other lords, Èze invites you today to dream and travel. Within the medieval walls, which were favored by princes and writers, it has retained all the charm and romanticism of the villages of southern France. From the top of the garden laid out in the ruins of the castle, the panorama is unique on the French Riviera. The plants, mostly cacti, spread out in green cascades to the Mediterranean Sea
