Perched on a hill, the charming little village of Cabris takes its name from the Latin "capra" (goat). Its narrow streets weave around the church, topped by a wind tower. From the belvedere, you can enjoy breathtaking views over the Grasse plain, the Bay of Cannes, the Esterel mountains, the Gulf of La Napoule, the foothills of the Tanneron and Lake Saint-Cassien. Cabris likes to evoke the key figures in its history, as was the case with Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-1944), who spent his childhood vacations here. Or Albert Camus, who visited between 1950 and 1953, and André Gide, who stayed here.
