Between Puimoisson and Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon, Roumoules was 600 metres high in the landscape of the Colostre valley. Like many villages in the surrounding area, its origin dates back to the Roman era - moreover, we attribute its name to a variant of Romulus, one of the founders of Rome. The church of Saint-Pierre-d-Links of the xvith century and its th century castle have glazed tiles.
