Situated on the banks of the Asse, this small, quiet village charms the visitor with its colourful facades and its many magnificent old doors. A typical Provençal village, it is a good place to take a walk and admire the fountains and wash houses, witnesses of another era. You can also admire the furniture of the church of Mézel dating from the 18th century. For the more courageous, take the path that leads to the chapel of Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, which dates from the 17th century and admire the view over the entire valley of the Asse. The commune shares with Châteauredon the station of Mézel-Châteauredon, where the train des Pignes from Nice to Digne stops.
