Located on the road to Gannat, five minutes from exit 16 of the A719, La Rencontre is a beautiful white building with a flowered front, equipped with a verandah, two spacious and pleasant rooms and a large car park. The panoramic room welcomes groups, work meetings, banquets or private parties. Louise, the chef prepares a traditional cuisine made with local products. At lunchtime, you have the choice between a simple formula on the go, or you can compose your own menu according to the dishes on the menu. Enjoy, for example, the Périgord salad gizzards, local ham and foie gras toast, then the duck breast cooked plancha style with sweet spices or the red mullet fillet just roasted in virgin oil, to finish with seasonal fruit pie, crème brûlée or chocolate fondant. The wine list includes more than 120 wines from all regions. Fans will also appreciate the tea and coffee menu. David, at the bar and in the dining room, is smiling and efficient.

Les plats sont préparés sur place et d'une grande qualité. Faisant sans cesse des efforts pour écouter leurs clients, ils réussissent ainsi à les fidéliser.
Les salles sont très bien aménagées pour accueillir des groupes et ne pas déranger les autres clients.
Très bon accueil, personnel avenant et souriant.
