The town of Banon promises you a warm welcome. Once you have passed the superb 14th century fortified gate, your steps will lead you to the remains of the ramparts, from where you can admire the Lure mountain and the typical tiled roofs of the houses in the lower part of the village. During your visit, don't miss the high church, which is open to the public and sometimes organizes concerts and shows, to discover its simply magical atmosphere. If you need advice on the surrounding area, the inter-communal tourist office can also give you information on Simiane-la-Rotonde, Saint-Michel-l'Observatoire and Reillane.
