Located in the Pays Loudunais, 12 km from Loudun, the village of Saint-Léger-de-Montbrillais is worth a visit for its two dolmens of the Fontaine de Son, classified as historical monuments since 1955. During archaeological excavations, these megaliths have revealed dry and burned bones. One of the hypotheses is that the bodies of the deceased were put there to dry before being burned and buried. Also to be seen in the village: the Saint-Léger church and the Rouvraye dwelling, both listed as historical monuments (in 1926 and 2009 respectively). The vineyards of the village are part of the AOC Saumur
