Situated 13 km from Loudon, Roiffé has an old 15th century fortified castle on a promontory overlooking the plain of Loudon, the Château de la Roche Martel. In addition to its remarkable architecture, its history is interesting since it is said to have belonged to the princely dynasty of the Plantagenets. Its entrance chatelet and its outdoor wooden gallery are worth it is listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments since 2005.
