The association "La BF de la BF/Maison des Projets de BF" was originally dedicated to the stakeholders of spirulina farms. Spirulina is a micro-algae rich in essential fatty acids, trace elements, iron. It can be consumed in situations of increased disability or nutritional need, and is recognized by the United Nations as a relevant resource for the fight against malnutrition. The Maison des Projets de Koudougou has become an associative reception centre offering warm and family accommodation, and a resource and meeting centre for «solidarity development contractors», open to every traveler.
What do they propose ? The site offers a low-priced accommodation and restaurant, opportunities for part-time or full-time volunteer work: assistance on administrative, communication, and development of the resource centre, contacts with third-party associations or ngos in order to design a volunteer, internship, or volunteer project.

Prices and conditions. 1,50 € for a housing on the terrace with net bed, € 2,60 for a dorm, € 4,60 for one single room, € 9,75 for the air-conditioned room, 0,75 €/d for the rental of a bicycle (or 15 €/month), € 2,75 per meal.
