The town is known for the ruins of the ancient Gallo-Roman city of Vetus Pistais, built nearly 2,000 years ago. The city then extended over 70 hectares with a theater that could accommodate up to 10,000 people! A journey through time! You should also visit the Saint-Vincent church and its gilded wooden tabernacle, the Coindres mill (visit in summer upon request), the megalith of the Souhé polishing shed, the wash house... To enjoy nature, there are several ponds (Bracon and Laumont), the green corridor which runs along the Riveau river or three hiking trails around Naintré (mills, forests or Beaudiment trails).
