Marçay is a pretty commune of 1,300 inhabitants, crossed by La Rune. Visitors' attention is drawn to the basilica of Saint-Benoît Joseph Labre, a late 19th-century neo-Gothic building. Its architecture is rich, with sublime stained-glass windows created in the studio of the Parisian painter Claudius Lavergne. Today, the building houses the Musée du Livre, which preserves a number of old documents. The parish church houses two bells, one of which dates back to 1584. Marçay also boasts a bridge dating back to Roman times. A Tèrra Aventura trail allows you to learn more about the village, including the Château de Bierson.
