Bar-restaurant with terrace where the chef proposes a menu according to the arrival of local products, a menu of dishes on the weekend
In the heart of the village of L'Isle-Jourdain, overlooking a square and parking lots, the bar-restaurant l'Esprit is run since 2011 by Christophe in the kitchen and Edith in the dining room. Each day of the week, at noon, the chef concocts a different menu, inspired by the arrivals, fresh, seasonal and local products. On weekends, a menu of homemade dishes, more elaborate, is proposed. The chef's flagship dish not to be missed: his Tatin of lamb sweetbreads with oyster mushrooms. The lamb is of course local, from Poitou-Charentes! On sunny days, enjoy the terrace.
