Ligugé is known for its abbey, founded in 361 by Saint Martin. Next door, the church and the crypt hide treasures. Since the Carmelite nuns of Niort shared their delicious secret recipe of scofa with the monks of the abbey, it is possible to buy it at their store. The park of Givray offers 150 hectares of greenery, with several remarkable trees. There are walking paths and a health course, as well as a tree climbing park. Also to be seen: the water level of the Filature and the islands of the Bridge protected by the conservatory of natural spaces. And take a break at the Divan (the river)!
