Bruno Chandioux and Pascale Chassaing run a boutique dedicated to the famous spice with three virtues (medicinal, tinctorial and gustatory). On the shelves, you'll find this Golden Spice in the form of saffron stigmas, saffron cider vinegar, saffron honey, olive oil to use in your cooking, saffron syrup, jams - les petites safranées blueberry, peppermint... - and much, much more! The saffron farm, where the first bulbs were planted in 2009, is open to visitors by appointment on a few weekends in October and November, when the flowers are in bloom. It's here that Bruno gives you a lively introduction to this legendary flower, Crocus sativus linnaeus, its cultivation, harvesting and pruning. If you want to ask him any questions, just speak loud and clear, because once he gets going, there's really no stopping him - he's so passionate about what he does! A few tips for use: leave to infuse for at least 3 hours, but 24 hours is recommended. Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 10 days, or pour the concentrated infusion into the ice cube tray and use each cube in a broth, sauce, etc.

Surface welcome. Price of the visit too cher.5€ would be enough. You would buy probably more at the shop.
More passionate than its two EC is rare! finally on Charroux it is the seed of passionate which sit. The discovery of Safran was for us an important moment, all tasting one sacrament awakened our tastebuds. To visit, a taste passionately. ........... a very small shop with oils, jams, vinegar and I go from here who have now has my dishes a taste a flavour exceptional. Happy, ON location will get to see.
This nice couple learned to us with passion what is saffron grace has presentation made by inexhaustible and passionate Husband. Tasting was a pleasure stops with the blends built by the saffron. Even the most discreet aromas usually appeared surprising. The shop is a course discoveries which should not be missed has Charroux.
Thank you FBA for its pleasant opinion... We will remind him however that a simple tasting of our products before comments would have been more useful to really get account than a group of critics hardly the threshold of our shop. Being good players, we invite you to visit us in October during harvest, so it realise indeed the " facticité" our trade and know-how. We also give this period some concepts courtesy, good manners and courtesy, that still seems to be useful to, especially for those who allow the exploitation the most devoid of the " trade équitable" and then in your own shop to teach you " lessons; conduite".
Our packaging is not " luxueux" but respectful of our spice and our guests and for practice, including did not ask by FBA, offer saffron in " sachets plastiques" ! There are shops specialising in this " kind; of articles" bottom-of-the-range!
