Created in 2017, Champigny en Rochereau gathers Champigny-le-Sec and Le Rochereau. It is part of the Communauté de communes du Haut-Poitou and is located northwest of Poitiers. The church of Notre-Dame mixes several styles: the choir and the capitals of the old transept are Romanesque (12th century), while the aisles are Gothic (14th-15th centuries). Don't miss the Neolithic remains of the Fontenaille dolmen and the Bie dolmen, respectively classified as historical monuments in 1929 and 1945. Excavations have uncovered the bones of six skeletons around the Fontenaille dolmen.
